Hello,

Little John passed away yesterday at 5 years old and was buried near his piggy friend Fireball. He was buried with his favorite blanket, a secret santa gift from 2006 from the piggy Seussy and her slave Heather.

When he was a little piggy he was incredibly hyper. Here's a short video of him racing around back in the day (sorry for the poor quality): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFJkcgpZKGY . He would clamper up the side of the cage to escape. A large piece of plastic with large slats cut in the top was placed on top of the cage to keep him in. After the roof was put on, he would climb on top of a hutch, squeeze through an opening in the roof, and then escape again.

After Fireball arrived, Little John had someone to play with and didn't try to escape all the time. Little John was awfully moody after Fireball left last December, I believe he still missed his friend. When Fireball showed up, Little John grew large and loafy, getting him into LAPS. He lost some weight after Fireball left and never made got it all back. He was the greatest loafy pig I've ever known. He absolutely loved his comfy items to lounge upon.

When the tiny pig Flashbang Fatbottom showed up, Flashbang looked up to Little John as his piggy mentor. He would stare at Little John and memorize his every movement. If Little John was chewing on a paper bag, Flashbang would try chewing on a paper bag. If Little John was eating a carrot, Flashbang would eat a carrot. He'd follow Little John around, mimicking whatever he did. Flashbang was very upset when Little John went away yesterday and didn't come back.

Thanks to everyone for the messages and thoughts. It doesn't feel right to have this little fuzzy missing from my life and I miss him horribly.
