[Gpdd] Rainbow Bridge. Spunky

[Birdie Horn]

It is with a very heavy heart that I
announce that Spunky has left for the 
bridge tonight. Yesterday he was 
running around on the porch and 
playing. This morning I had to go 
to the doctor myself and when I 
can home I could hear him rattling 
as he breathed.  I heard him 
cough so I went to pick him up.
I knew the look and when I picked
him up I could tell he had lost 
control of his ability to hold himself 
up. He hadn't ate anything that I 
put in his cage this am so I knew
that his time was close. No matter
what Spunky would always eat 
and demand what he wanted. 
I had such high hopes he would 
last a little longer after his
come back from his leg paralysis,
but I guess it wasn't meant to be. 
I know he isn't suffering now and 
that's the way it should be. I was 
able to call Steve so he could say 
his goodbyes to Spunky. It was 
almost like he waited to hear his 
voice again before crossing over 
the bridge. I'm glad that I was 
able to be with him when he
made the journey as he has 
been there for me so much. He 
truly was a loving piggie. I'm 
glad I was able to share the 
time I had with him, I was truly
blessed to give him his forever home.
