Hello Slave,

We are all having a wonderful time here aboard the Pearl, a magnificent and well appointed ship that even you, with your aversion to sailing, could not help but admire.

I am calling because I have a problem with Hershey. She is such a shy and quiet little pig but now she wants to go off on an adventure with Fugly. Now we know that Fugly is a gentlemanly pig and I am not suggesting anything otherwise but last night, who should turn up but Samantha and Tabitha, who sneaked out from under their Slave's nose. Poor Fugly has had enough confusion with the ladies and I hope that there is not more on the horizon. If you should speak to Hershey's Slave, please tell her that I am doing my best but there may be trouble ahead.

On a lighter note, my boys want to celebrate Father's Day with their dad on Sunday. Barley doesn't know about this but I have a bottle of carrot and parsley wine secreted in my quarters just for the occasion. Do you think that this would be appropriate aboard a Pirate ship or should I discourage them? I wonder if any of the other boars here are fathers and would want to join us. I am not sure about the protocol aboard ship though I must tell you that there is a rumour that a wedding is going to take place with Captain Jack performing the ceremony. Won't that be exciting?

We had a fantastic day meeting the turtles and many of us were able to ride on their backs. They are wonderful creatures and far bigger than the tortoises who come to stay in our garden. Shipwreck Sam has told us all about how they are persecuted by humans and I can understand why you are always sending letters and signing petitions to help protect other innocent creatures. We piggies are lucky to have slaves to care for us and all the other animals in the world need help too.

I'll call again when I have more news about Hershey.

Sapphire Piggyfriend.
