A TRIBUTE TO OUR LOVED ONES, BIG AND SMALL

The lives of the piggies and humans we love,

Provide us so much; they're gifts from above.

Their years, months and days are not promised, we know;

But when each one's time comes, it's so hard to let go.

They've given us much with their love and their ways

And now it's our turn to let them go play.

Tears run down our cheeks as we think of their face,

Be it furry or human, they're in a good place.

The loss of a pig, a mom or a dad,

It all feels so hopeless; it all feels so sad.

But with all of those waiting who've gone on before,

We know each one's welcomed; and feel pain no more.

They know they were loved and they loved us in return.

Each life was sent down here to help us to learn.

to share with another our love and our home,.

So no one goes through this lifetime alone.

When each one's time comes, and we must say good-bye,

It's OK to grieve; it's OK to cry.

They wait for us now and they're saving a place,

With anticipation, they watch for our face.

Meanwhile, they fly or they run or they stroll

In a wonderful place with green, grassy knolls.

I pray you find peace as you miss your sweet friend,

But it's just the beginning, it's never the end.

Some day we'll all be there, together once more

And who knows in the meantime what life holds in store.

Perhaps a new piggy or new human friend,

A new cycle starts up, there's never an end.

God bless you all who are grieving with tears,

I pray you find peace and more love through the years.

In loving memory of my father, Robert L. Williams, died 5/11/09

And in loving memory of each and every little pig who has touched our lives
so deeply and gone on before us to await us at the rainbow bridge.

With love to my pig family,

Lynn Williams
