Fresh leaves from fruit trees are probably safe (provided there are no pesticides on them), but I would avoid other leaves. I know that eating wilted Red Maple leaves causes a fatal type of hemorrhagic cystitis in horses and I'm assuming it would kill piggies as well. There's a toxin that is produced as the leaves wilt. I'd have to do more research on other leaves.
