Have you tried the human cystitis remedy for Hetty? I have successfully treated my Gingerbread using Cymalon from the pharmacy. There are other brands too.

This was recommended by my Rodentologists and comes in a box of 6 sachets. For a piggy you need 1/4 sachet to an eggcup of water and is given for 2 days. Syringe in a little at a time during the day.

On Peter's website, he has a different dose, dividing one sachet into three for a three day course.. Mix each third, as you need it, with an eggcup of water and syringe this in during the day, little and often. He said that 2 days should be enough but that it is worth giving the third day's supply.

It's worth a try rather than keep giving antibiotics to Hetty.

I have never tried it but cranberry juice is reputed to keep cystitis at bay.
