[Gpdd] "Twas the Night Before Pigmas"

"'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE PIGMAS"  or

'THE GREAT CHRISTMAS CAPER"



T'was the night before Pigmas and all through the land,

All piggies were sleeping; 'cept Tabby & Sam.

Mommy & Daddy had gone off to bed,

So plans of gift peeking danced in Tab's head.



She nudged Sis Samantha to come have some fun.

They climbed from their cage and started to run.





They went to the tree where all the gifts were;

And when Sammy found hers, she started to purr.

Tabby came running. "Hey, wait for me!"

They grabbed up the ribbons, started chewing with glee.



They tugged and they tussled, each trying to win;

Wanting the goodies that lay wrapped within.



Much whispering and giggling were heard as they looked.

Then, "Hold it!" was shouted; their gooses were cooked!



Mommy came in with her hands on her hips.

 She picked them both up with a smile on  her lips.

"you know you must wait and it's not yet the hour.  "

The girls weren't impressed, their faces quite sour.



Mommy picked up the presents and hid them away;

The girl's went to sleep, to wait for "that" day.



But we hear Tab exclaim 'ere Mom draws out of sight..

(Spitting out a left over piece of ribbon that was stuck on her tooth)  "I'm 
busting out, you with me tonight?"



Samantha:  Oh, for Heaven's sake Tabitha.  Knock off the Humphrey Bogart 
impression and go to sleep.  There follows much rustling of hay and nudging 
for the best spot and the girls are back in Piggy dream land, dreaming of 
all the goodies they hope to devour on Pigmas day. 
Z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z.
