Dear Cindy

Special healing prayers are being sent to you and little Sunshine.  If he is
not wanting to eat much, check that at least something is being produced at
the other end.  If his poos are in short supply, maybe a shot of
metocloprimide will help stimulate his gut motility and help get things back
to normal.  Anaesthetic and powerful analgesics can often cause mild gut
stasis; a little gentle massage might also help.  Maybe he would enjoy a
little fruity baby food (pear, banana) in addition to his critical care.
