Hi Maren,

Joan beat me to it in suggesting the T4 test. I don't know what treatment would be available for hyperthryoidism in piggies but one of my dogs was diagnosed with it using the T3 and T4 tests and she had to have a daily tablet of thyroid hormones for the rest of her very long life. The medication would doubtless have a different name from the one my vet in England prescribed.
